I think this basic system will be one way for #realityOS to organize how apps will contextually appear in the AR Layer of the Apple AR Glasses. Visual Siri could become a kind of home screen for realityOS (with a lot of refinements to prevent attention overload). (5/5)

Developers will finally prepare some UI to be presented in the Siri AR Layer (following some strict guidelines). A click on this UI will bring users within their app. A wine app will display the rating of the wine next to the bottle, inviting users to click to know more. (4/5)

To prepare devs for #realityOS, my guess is that Apple will introduce Visual Siri at #wwdc22. To be shipped in iOS 16, it will recognize objects, provide relevant info, but also allow devs to create extensions, so their apps can react to what's on the camera feed ! (1/5)

@MuseoPic @Dilmerv A few devs have access to it. I built out an experience last month that'll be sharing soon. Yes, Niantic has a companion app that allows for you to scan the virtual spots/objects you want you use.
