🔴 Idea 2 - Online learning for mission and revenue Nowadays, everyone seems to have an online course, so shouldn’t museums get in on the act? The Barnes Foundation pivoted to online learning during the pandemic.

This made the museum more welcoming to those who might not have the funds to eat at the cafe and sent a message that the museum is for everybody.

Originally they worked with Turku Uni of Applied Sciences about how the information they had could be turned into a 'technology thing' but they didn't know what 'it' was. Zoan won the tender and other experts it has been a smooth project.

The Museum is providing all the data away for free with no restrictions. Turku 1927 could run hackathons but they wanted everyone to get involved.
