This will open a pandora box so I will use brevity in my response. Nature decided women will bear children, society decided they become the primary nurturer for elders and kids. At work, the glass cieling for highly competent women still exists for roles they didn't choose for themselves. Guess Taliban is more sorted than us, they have caged their women and made peace with regression.

No not assuming that all women go on leave together Only saying those who go their load is transferred to male employees I have seen HR and managers say women have additional family commitments do load should only be transferred to male employees that too without overtime pay Ideally government should be paying for such periods not company - if that happens companies will get temporary replacements or suitable incentives so that other co workers arevnot impacted

Unpopular Opinion : Men are jealous of women’s privileges related to pregnancy leave. A new mother is considered a burden on the team by many. #CorporateTruths
