Join us today in wishing our founding father a happy birthday. As a nation, we are grateful for all you have done for us. We wish you good health and many more returns!!

In my interaction with the grassroots, especially the women who are the first hand bearers of the economic hardships, I have come to the realization of the need for real change. This motivates me in wanting to be part of the solution. We can change Zambia to the country we want.

Women, youth and persons with disabilities participation in politics will be legislated by giving them a minimum number of seats in Parliament.

MDC shall start the empowerment process through free education up to Grade 12 with learners trained in vocational skills and through loans and grants for college and university education.

Graduates shall be drafted as apprentices with others finding jobs immediately which will be created through the devolved system. Special funds for the youth and women in financial institutions facilitated by government will provide funds for those wishing to become entrepreneurs
