So long everyone, it's been a blast posting and sharing the BCAM and Hawaii Mars with you!
I can't wait to watch the museum grow more in the future than it has the last 3 years I've volunteered there.
It's been brought to my attention, before I sign off that I have one more important post to share!
The museum will be closed on Tuesday, November 12th for building and project maintenance.
The museum will reopen regular hours on Wednesday, November 13th.
10am - 4pm
@8494Rx7 As a reminder Hawaii has never been indoors. The end goal, aka the "right thing" is building a new hangar but that costs a lot of money. Of course
we would graciously accept your donation either in person at the museum or online, at BCAM.net
Thanks for the concern
Happy Halloween!
We hope you have a safe and fun Halloween today!
We are open at normal hours (10am - 4pm), and look forward to seeing you in your costumes!

Make sure to check out the Norseman Room for our used book sale on your visit between now and the end of business day November 1st.
All books are ready to go to a new home for the low price of $2 per book!
We're open daily, 10am - 4pm
Did you know? Guided tours are available for free of the BCAM! Mention at the front desk you'd like a tour, or enjoy the museum on your own at your own pace!
The restoration hangar and certain aircraft require guides or volunteers to be toured through or sit in.
What better way to help celebrate International Day of The Air Traffic Controller, with the audio between ATC and Hawaii Mars on the final flight from Sproat Lake to Patricia Bay

Access to the flight deck is unfortunately closed temporarily due to the permanent stairs that were sourced not being adequate upon visual inspection. A new temporary solution is being determined and it will be in place shortly.
Come to BCAM Friday, October 25 to complete a scavenger hunt for prizes, meet our resident ghouls and participate in an afternoon craft while learning about the principles of flight.
Regular admission required; all children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
The Hawaii Mars will be closed this week Tuesday and Wednesday for planned maintenance. You will still be able to see the Hawaii Mars from its exterior, but from a safe distance as it will be an active work site for those two days. We appreciate your patience.
