@yurikageyama Bought five of his novels. Then I stopped. Couldn't stand the weirdness. Not saying he is bad. But perhaps not my type of author to follow.

I've said this before but I interviewed Haruki Murakami a long time ago in a cafe he liked in Kunitachi, and he was already pretty much a superstar but not as big as he is now. He was very nice and soft-spoken and told me he wants to make money as a writer and so he writes material he knows will sell. He did not have qualms about this, did not try to hide it in any way, just told me very matter of fact, not boasting either. What he really likes to do is hang out in Hawaii because that's one place where you can totally get away from work. Obviously he is a talented writer and a man with his heart in the right place. It would be interesting to see what he writes next, now that he is older, and he doesn't have to sell, and can write what he truly wants to write. Because that is what life is about. And writing.

I'm curious why, artistically, Sono is more excited about Iho than Jinren. Maybe Iho is a weak scare-dy cat? or his role, deluded by a vampire, is new to Sono? or because the writer expanded his backstory to include a freedom fighting past and another love interest?

@MyPlayAccount I think because they have to keep Jinren a secret. Even on the character summaries, they dont include Jinren. They kept it for mystery purposes. Coz not everyone read the webtoon. He cannot spoil much, and only Iho is mentioned on the articles.
