Some people that are still at imminent risk of suicide, leave the hospital to be cared for at home by their partner.
Carers can be left to figure it out for themselves, without support.

Great to see this co-authored piece by @MyfMaple and I published today. We spoke to 100s of carers and found that telling people on discharge to do ‘suicide watch’ without explaining how that might be done (and for how long) increases distress for many #SuicidePrevention #carers

The problem is no-one has explained The Voice to Peter Dutton in a way he can understand. Quite simply, it’s a dedicated body that exists to help shape government policy. Like News Corp, but for Indigenous Australians.
