Just hours before Trump comes to the Capitol for a celebratory bill signing for the housing bill, he says it is of "minor importance" and notes Elizabeth Warren's involvement. In case you missed it, Trump is pushing for SAVE America Act and to blow up the filibuster -- neither of which have the requisite votes for passage. Should be a very interesting day.

Mark Carney doesn’t just dislike democracy, he holds it in open contempt. He sneers at questions. He mocks scrutiny. He tramples decorum. He treats the House of Commons like an inconvenience, the opposition like pests, his own MPs like props, and Canadian voters like ignorant obstacles. Ordinary Canadians? Beneath him. This isn’t leadership. This is a man who views democratic norms as speed bumps on the road to unchecked power. He doesn’t want to govern Canada, he wants to rule it, advancing his own agenda through creeping authoritarianism. Canada deserves better than a contemptuous technocrat who sees voters as the enemy.

Considering that almost everything done to secure the border during Trump’s presidency has been executive action that can be reversed, and Democrats are becoming the party of open borders & no immigration enforcement, we may see another border crisis if Dems take back the WH in 2028. The migrants themselves say they are waiting for Trump to be gone.
