The National Guard of Ireland exists because many believe that Ireland faces serious challenges that are not being adequately addressed by those entrusted with governing the country. A Volunteer is a man or woman who has made a conscious and reasoned decision to dedicate themselves to the service of their nation, their community, and their fellow citizens. Concerns over illegal immigration, border security, public safety, housing, and the increasing disconnect between political institutions and ordinary citizens have led many people to feel unheard and unrepresented. The relationship between the state and the publi and government institutions have drifted away from their original purpose: serving the people, protecting their rights, and safeguarding the nation. Likewise, confidence in policing and justice can only exist where the law is applied fairly, impartially, and equally to all. Our purpose is to ensure accountability, national sovereignty, secure borders, fair policing, and a government that remains answerable to the Irish people. Your duty is to Ireland. Your conduct must always reflect that duty. ----- Volunteers will be Vetted Training Compulsory Dedication only To IRELAND !

Due to advice from our Irish BRETHREN in the USA, we have decided to incorporate more Irish emblems into our Coat of Arms This is the new one. It incorporates the Irish tri-color St. Patrick's blue for the nationalist The unbroken Celtic knot symbolizes strength and uni the Irish harp the National Guard shield with green The Harp – The traditional national symbol of Ireland, representing Irish statehood, heritage, culture, and continuity. It is one of the oldest symbols associated with Ireland. Saint Patrick's Blue Background – Historically associated with Ireland long before green became dominant. It references Irish tradition and, as you noted, Green Saltire (X) on the Shield – Visually suggests protection, unity, and identity. Green is strongly associated with Ireland and Irish nationalism. The saltire also creates a balanced, defensive-looking heraldic design. The Shield – Represents defence, guardianship, resilience, and protection of a community or nation. Unbroken Celtic Knot Border – Symbolises continuity, eternity, unity, and the interconnected nature of past, present, and future generations. An unbroken knot is often interpreted as representing a legacy that endures. Green Arc (Left) – Represents the green of the Irish tricolour and is often associated with the Gaelic and nationalist tradition. Orange Arc (Right) – Represents the orange of the Irish tricolour and is historically associated with the Protestant and unionist tradition. Black Central Field – Creates contrast and gives prominence to the central symbols. Symbolically, it can represent resolve, seriousness, sacrifice, or remembrance. Triquetras (Trinity Knots) – Traditional Celtic symbols often interpreted as unity, eternity, and interconnectedness.
