North Crowley players were asked about their favorite hype songs. Tommy Brakel doesn’t have one, but he did take a moment to appreciate his assistant coaches — he has told me one of the keys to longevity is surrounding yourself with the best.

North Crowley head coach Tommy Brakel started media day by introducing the entire roster. Even the players who don’t receive many minutes. A good example of one of their mottos: “We’re them > I’m him.”

The only boys basketball coach for North Crowley - Tommy Brakel. 26+ years. Panthers only 1 other trip to the title game - 2008. 18 years later Tommy will coach in his 2nd final with NCHS. Saturday vs Brennan. Hard to find coaches better than him. Congrats Brakel. Bring home the championship @gosset41 @NCBasketball
