The weather advisory that was already in effect for SVG has been upgraded to a Flash Wlood Watch and will remain in effect until 6 am 13th May 2025. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be prepared.

High Commissioner @subhashpgupta sybolically handed over 54 tones of relief materials to @NEMOSVG during an official handing over ceremony organized in Kingstown today. 1 mn $ worth of relief is to mitigate the damages suffered by the people of SVG due to Hurricane Beryl 2024.

A small craft and high surf advisory is in effect for SVG. Only vessels capable of withstanding swell heights attached should venture out. Sea bathers are advised to stay out of the water.
