@colts_report @JaylenReed03 Check out @BuckyBrooks … has him rising and currently 4th best safety. Also check out ESPN Matt millers Mock draft 2.0 … has Jaylen going 3rd round to the Jets pick 73. That mock data base is faulty AF. And NFLDraftbuzz rarely updates their rankings

Been using @NFL_Draft_Buzz mock draft simulator and very much enjoying the variability in the computer selections. The Depth Charter Builder is also an awesome tool for seeing how your selections will actually integrate into your team. With most of my recent Bills mocks, I've found that CB is something that ought to be addressed at 30, even before DT. Reason being that DT, that is, the specific space-eating 1T that Buffalo needs, is rich with Day 2/3 talent. While CB, and indeed secondary talent broadly, also runs deep, the Bills will likely have the opportunity to plug in a lock-down corner on day one opposite Benford, and that's an opportunity they cannot pass up. What's more, the Bills will also need depth at corner because Benford, unfortunately, continues to fall victim to the injury bug. And so, should Benjamin Morrison (Notre Dame) or Shevon Revel (East Carolina) somehow find their respective way to 30, Buffalo should jump at the opportunity to instantly build a formidable secondary. Complementing the lock-down corners ought to be a rotation of 1Ts to let Ed Oliver and, spelling him for ~20-30% of reps, DeWayne Carter, including some combination of Deone Walker (Kentucky); Alfred Collins (Texas); Omarr Norman-Lott (Tennessee); Joshua Farmer (Florida St.); Jordan Phillips (Maryland); Simeon Barrow Jr. (Miami); Cam Jackson (Florida); and Jamaree Caldwell (Oregon). If it's possible to snag Shemar Turner to play the role of a younger, more explosive Dawuane Smoot, we could have all of the pieces in place for a front that is versatile and big. With all of the above in mind, I've been surprised to see how frequently I'm selecting an EDGE rusher on Day 3 or, depending on how the chips fall, not at all. If Buffalo can get stout up the middle, it will free up Ed Oliver to rush the passer. And if they are talented in the secondary, that will buy an extra step/second for Rousseau and the DEs to get home. I also find I'm drawn to the big-hitting mid-round safeties like Lathan Ransom (Ohio St.) and Robert Spears-Jennings because they are so different from the typical McDermott mold. Would love to see Beane and McD branch out and get players with the ability, and willingness, to change a game with a single hit. Pieces on the backend like Dorian Strong (Virginia Tech); Jordan Hancock (Ohio St.); and O'Donnell Fortune (South Carolina) can round out a revamped secondary that can play the variety of sets and schemes that Buffalo likes to play. To close this one out, adding some good route runners that also stretch the field like Roc Taylor (Memphis), Chimere Dike (Florida), and Savion Williams (TCU). nfldraftbuzz.com/ShowDrafts/nic…

@NFL_Draft_Buzz My pleasure! There are far too few nice comments on this platform. If everyone sent just one a day, just one, think of the possibilities! Keep up the great work guys! Will be citing you in future mocks. Why not offer a mock simulator with trades for free? Just a thought. Best, M
