If your office is not fully updated on the security situation in Osun State, especially the recent killings, please speak with the DPO of Pere Police Station in Ede North, SP Bamidele. He should be able to brief you properly. CSP Olusegun, the DPO of Okereși in Ede South, is already aware of the matter because it was formally reported to his office.
I’m not here to do the police’s job for you. If you need more evidence or facts, kindly direct your officers to go out and carry out their lawful duties by carrying out full investigation into this matter which has been on various news outlets (punch news, naija confra and many more). The osun-state police command has several departments that can handle this, that is, if they are not too occupied chasing yahoo boys, mounting roadblocks, or extorting motorists on the highways.
We expect better. These killings are serious, and the people of Osun State deserve real protection and prompt action.
English

@I_AM_WETHEBEST @minister_femi @Kaothaj So you’re aware the DPO are not oblivious to this matter meaning the Command is aware and an investigation is already being carried out but you have constantly come on here to discredit every effort or the Police like they really aren’t doing anything.
English

@I_AM_WETHEBEST @minister_femi @Kaothaj Adewuyi Olaoluwa discrediting every action of the Police is not accountability, it is noise. We will keep doing the work and arresting criminals while others trade in cynicism. Bring facts if you have them, not blanket attacks.
English

@minister_femi @Kaothaj @NPF_Osun_State They're quick to arrest people for defamation and those who are speeding online fake news but they are blind when it comes to bandits, cultist, kidnapperz and terrorists terorising our communities
English

@Armani_szn By your own logic then: since we’re denying that “anything we deny is the truth,” that means your claim is false. Stick to facts. Osun is secure.
English

@Farisalfarik @Sunnexwilcox The message was passed or not ?
English

@NPF_Osun_State @Sunnexwilcox “Elon musk money” from a supposed police handle. The guy doesn’t even have a blue tick. It’s fine to ask him to take it down but the last remark wasn’t necessary at all. You should be more professional rather than trying to tweet like Gen-Z banger accounts.
English

@IfeomaOrji_ @AdejokeAder Pessimism is not prophecy. Osun remains calm and secure, and we won’t validate fear mongering dressed as prediction. If you have credible information, report it. If not, don’t wish evil into existence under our debunk.
“Somehow somehow”, it will always remain in your imagination
English

@NPF_Osun_State @AdejokeAder Until somehow somehow, it becomes true

Our attention has been drawn to the misleading tweet by @AdejokeAder claiming a bandit invasion in Inisa and Oyan. This claim is false and was aimed at causing panic and inciting public unrest.
Woye@woye1
This is no more ordinary. 2: A coordinated misleading information is unleashed by certain elements to cause chaos in Nigeria. 3: @OfficialDSSNG should chat with @AdejokeAder pls. @Osun_PoliceNG @chief_agbabiaka @NPF_NCCC @aleeygiwa @TunjiDisu1 @PoliceNG_CRU @PoliceNG @AAdeleke_01

Osun State Police, what's really going on? You people are always quick to arrest young boys for cybercrime, parading them on social media like you've won some big war. But when it comes to the cultists terrorizing our communities, you suddenly become clueless.
Just last week, four people were killed in cult-related violence around the Federal Polytechnic area in Ede. Yesterday another person was pronounced dead — that's five lives lost in such a short time. Yet, the Osun State Police Command hasn't made a single arrest in connection with these killings. Not one!
We have an Anti-Cultism Squad, but what exactly are they doing? People are now living in fear and panic in their own homes. The same police that move fast to arrest harmless young boys they label as "Yahoo boys" can't seem to tackle the real criminals moving freely in the state.
The Commissioner of Police needs to wake up and take his job seriously. Instead of chasing people for defamation and cyberbullying, focus on the real threats that are terrorizing residents. This is getting out of hand. Do your actual job and protect the people of Osun State. @NPF_Osun_State
