@disco___cat False equivalency. You’re applying a principle of one tax onto another. I’ve been taxed on my income already so my income doesn’t get taxed again. That principle doesn’t apply to what you spend so taxing there is fair game

@disco___cat That they’ll already have paid tax on to get there in the first place. And we encourage people to not be a burden on the public purse in retirement and encourage self sufficiency. Cannot see an issue here..

I’ve just posted a rating on the App Store re X. The one star I gave it is still too high. This app is now fubar.

@XAustralia all I want is a Following feed that gives me things in chronological order. Whatever you’ve done this is no longer the case. The app crashes, I don’t get what I want: why would I upgrade to use more of what you offer when you cannot do a simple thing?

Yet this platform defaults my view to there. They know their product is shit. Yet they still promote it. The more I think about it there’s an element of incompetence but it seems more malicious. When I read the crap X thinks I want to see, this is close to pure evil

I can honestly say the “For You” section is a shitshow of unimportant people mostly bad people elevated by an algorithm that wouldn’t know me from a bar of soap. If they think this is what I want, the people creating it are incompetent … or malicious. Or both.
