Congratulations @coop32952138 of @BessemerHigh on Your Commitment to @NRCCBaseball It's been a long journey to find the right fit as Cooper had committed to @Craven_Baseball a few months back. However, news came through shortly after that Craven was folding the program. Cooper jumped back into the recruiting pool trying to prioritize a JUCO with good vocations that wasn't terribly far from home and had a manageable cost. Cooper found out what a lot of WNC prospects are catching on to: that @NRCCedu checks all those boxes. New River is a JUCO that needs to be on the radar of our WNC talent as they are closer to home for many of our Mountain and Foothills prospects than the eastern NC JUCOs, and they offer many of the same degrees and vocations. Not to mention the proximity to Radford, Virginia Tech, UVA Wise, Emory and Henry, Ferrum, Roanoke and many other competitive 4 Year Programs along the I-81 Corridor @CCampbell7506
