📊 Alarming Rise in Obesity Rates in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 ⭕️ According to Health Ministry Secretary Dr. Palitha Mahipala, 48% of women and 33.3% of men are overweight in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. ⭕️ High sugar, fat, and salt consumption is prevalent, while vegetable and fruit intake is low. ⭕️ Low exercise levels are a significant contributing factor. ⭕️ 42% of the elderly population suffers from high blood pressure. ⭕️ Urgent public health initiatives are needed to combat this growing health crisis. #SriLanka #HealthCrisis #ObesityEpidemic
