rarely do I ask this question when it comes to science but I just need to know why anyone thinks this is a good thing? why do we feel the need to copy sentience into a machine only for it to be trapped in a reality of our own making?

Scientists have successfully copied a real fruit fly’s brain into a computer simulation. They gave the digital brain a virtual body in a physics engine. Without any training or programming for specific actions, the simulated fly began walking, grooming itself, adjusting its posture, and performing other natural behaviors spontaneously. This is the first time a complete real animal brain’s wiring has run in a closed-loop virtual body and produced spontaneous, coordinated movement purely from its biological structure.

I am very concerned this may be a mayor disruption for modded CS1 players. There are many important mods that could need big updates and it is not reasonable to expect that all hobby modders come back and provide updates. IMHO PDX should offer to pay modders for this work.

With the Cities: Skylines 1 update tomorrow; There are significant changes in the code for this patch, so this update will probably break many mods. If you use mods, we have dusted off the cobwebs of this old Patch 101 and updated it. It's worth a read! pdxint.at/CS1_StateofMods
