Wtf, so we are making shit up now? The reason everyone hated FF13 was how linear the game was in its progression and exploration. The Combat, despite being different, was not the best either.
It had nothing to do with a Female lead, FF13 was the reason why I bought a PS3. Until I bought the game, I was disappointed.

@_SpyDtroid_ eh, ppl were just ragey about a female lead. 13 is a great game, 13-2 is good but felt more like a spinoff than a sequel, 13-3 is not really my cup of tea bcus of the main gimmick of the game

@MLuigi76585 im assuming its vram yes. its not the only thing missing. theres alot of foilage and rocks missing from the mt nibel path

@Naxshe22 This is such an odd thing to omit? Surely it doesnt save on performance that much? Maybe vram limitations?

@J19_Gaming89 i doubt it. the demo is ment to be a indication of how it will run and look on the switch 2 so any changes in it are likley to stay

@Naxshe22 This is a demo as well so maybe they get added back but also foliage isn't as thick in Mt Nibel region so more rocks

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch. Starting with any digital games purchased after the March 2026 system update, your PS5 will require an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate the license. If the console stays offline longer than that, the games simply will not launch until you reconnect. This change does not affect any titles already in your library. Setting a console as your primary system also will not bypass the monthly check-in.

This was just something I'd been kicking around since the game was announced last fall. I know it's a pipe dream, but if they ever did add her, I'd love it if they kept her original hairstyle...

@Japanesechipmnk I never played the 3ds versipn either i was gonna emulate the switch versiom but im still unsure what u even do in this game lol

@Naxshe22 It’s very funny and more interesting than the 3Ds that’s for sure so my opinion is, go for it especially if you have a good gaming pc with a good graphics card
