@kt_wza @CiudadBBall I slightly disagree, the only period of time he played with a healthy and not recovering Porzingus was the bubble. They were playing like one of the best duos in the league. But as always unfortunately KP got injured. Though there isn’t a straight comp for that version of KP

I get that bc of Wemby, having a floor spacing big is the fad of the moment, but whether that’s how the team should be structured or not, I’m just gonna say this…
I don’t think Luka even wants a floor spacing center, he wants a traditional big to set good screens and roll hard

I knew my eyes weren’t lying to me. They killed Luka for getting attacked and funnelling to help while wemby is the help.
Despite being a significantly better defender Wemby has been worse than Luka was in his first finals.

Kyrie was really facing a long life battle with himself in Boston because I think so far Dylan Harper has been better in the finals than Kyrie was in 2024.

@MarzTalksSports I don’t disagree, my conclusion was that Jason Kidd’s flawed offensive coaching tactics of Luka/Kyrie save us basketball and having them spoon feed players (who were at best career inconsistent shooters) that inevitably stopped working when the Celtics chose not to double.

To me it’s close, I think that Celtics team was better than the Knicks considering Porzingus rested for most of the playoffs. And excluding Kyrie, I think Luka had worse players next to him, who also performed worse.

What’s not debatable is that Wemby has been at least as emotionally immature as Luka was.
