NEW - Conservative MP for Romford, Andrew Rosindell, won't be present on the Parliamentary Estate until further notice following his arrest on suspicion of indecent assault, sexual assault, rape, abuse of position of trust and misconduct in a public office.

@franktompson @sarahm_twerton @timothyball Hi Frank. This is a more complex issue than may seem at first sight and depends on nature of ward. Matt McCabe and I have 15 villages (plus many hamlets) to cover in 13 parishes and so approach has to be different. Close liaison with parish councils is v important for us.

@Chutzpah84 @BathCA Various new signs on way, by tomorrow morning latest, plus people stationed at either end 7-7 to deter rat-running. Sadly, some motorists have been deliberately moving/circumnavigating signs, and even driving the wrong way down The Firs; and thus getting reported to the Police...

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but it looks like the road closure may have been arranged before the local elections and whilst the @BathCA were in charge? (I could be wrong, just taking the info that's on roadworks.org)
