IN THE 1980’s there was always 1st Class #cricket played on #NewYears Day…! In fact it was a huge battle between the then #Transvaal & #WesternProvince and here in the photo it was the rebel #WestIndies - great days for cricket 🏏 but NOT SO in any way for many other good people and the political reasons in the country…🥲🇿🇦 Surely though, it makes SO much sense for the annual @NewlandsCricket Test Match to start on 1st Jan and not the 3rd Jan…? It’s a family day and a recovery day 🙈😅 for some, but what better than to relax around a field or in front of the television 📺 watching the @ProteasMenCSA in action… Something to please consider for the future please #SAvsIND …👌🏻👌🏽👌🏿
