Nothing so glamorous as buying things cheap and flipping them, though. Most of my projects I get from the local landfill, and believe me, I get more than a few sideways glances 🤣 I'm the crazy garbage picker, rooting through the piles of refuse, but when I rescue a cherry wood coffee table from the 1960s, or a 5 ton floor jack from the 1940s, and restore them to their full glory, it's worth it. I see the beauty that used to be, hidden under years of neglect and abuse, finally thrown out, and I bring it back to life.
