About a year ago we were issued a Wells Notice by the SEC. It's crazy what this last year has been like. Lots of ups and downs, but over 4.5 years later the @CyberKongz are still here.
I'm proud to be here with one of the oldest communities in web3.

gonna ramble a min... man, I'm so happy that we got through some of the updates that we planned on doing post SEC. a bit of a refresh to the website and logo...was well overdue we launched our new token $KONG. we migrated our Baby Kong collection to CyberKongz Evolutions. essentially creating an upgraded baby with new art, and the ability to participate in our seasonal distribution of KONG. we launched our collector hub, KongzHub. now that we've finished this phase, it's a great time to reflect. was it the right move to try to go to a more holistic approach with our token? I genuinely think so. it just seemed like the old system with banana emissions just wouldn't work for 6 more years. was the reaction epic? nah, sure wasn't. did we get support that i thought we might get from the space? not really, but more more on this later. did we do everything we thought we could do to get our ship back on track? ya, we really did the past 8 months post SEC has just given me a lot of clarity on what the current state of the market is. it was foolish to think that people would support CyberKongz just because we are OGs that did some cool shit back in 21/22. the space has matured to the point where the only things that make money are things that you can't quantify. if there's no mystery to what you're doing, it's sort of impossible to catch the attention of outsiders. projects know how much they need new blood, but new blood only comes in when they think there's a play to be had. current cycles last for weeks if you're lucky, but more than likely days or hours. imagine selling coffee, but no one is actually interested in drinking it, they're just hoping the guy behind them is willing to buy it while it's still hot. it's actually refreshing knowing what all of this is. try something new on btc and it fails? you're a rugger set up a claim for your new token for people outside of your ecosystem? you're a scammer can't even give shit away without somehow feeling like you're an asshole 😂 KOL's? they couldn't care less about supporting people that have tried to do some good. other projects coming to try to give support when you announce the feds are coming after you for absolutely nothing? not a chance. I think the best support we've had has been with @opensea let by @HollanderAdam. they reset our relationship with them, and I'm really grateful for all of their support. Is the system flawed? not necessarily. it just is what it is right now. the idea of being part of a community is uninteresting to most people, because let's face it, most communities are shit and few people have had the experience of going through these battles with their friends, and getting some wins along the way. the ones that find their way into a cozy ecosystem usually stay, regardless of floor price. we're going to keep pushing @CyberKongz forward. we're going to keep trying new shit and we're going to be thinking way outside of the box. nothing is off the table. time to bring out Herny...

After three years I have decided to leave @CyberKongz.
I left Citigroup to break the corporate cycle and pursue my passion for web3 full-time.
When @HenryTheGrape called me out of the blue asking if I wanted to join the CK team I instantly accepted.
CyberKongz has always been this special, mystic project deep-rooted in innovation and experimentation; encompassing what a crypto-native project should be.
We continued this during my time at the company, with some particular highlights being:
- Designing a GTM that amassed over 11M impressions in under three weeks
- Securing major partnerships with the likes of adidas, nanoblock®, and more
- Bringing our IP to Ronin Network & sparking a major catalyst event for the chain
- Collaborating with over 100+ projects and bringing endless opportunities to the community
- Bringing numerous innovations to the market with security, product, gaming, and more
But most importantly it was having a relationship with the most incredible community, meeting holders across the world, and navigating this crazy space together.
Working closely with @adsy889, @antbrowne_eth, @HenryTheGrape, and the rest of the CK team has been an absolute privilege and I wish them nothing but the best going forward. Will always be rooting for them as a holder.
It has been the most incredible time and CyberKongz will forever live in my heart.
Extremely excited for my next chapter, which I will post about here in the not too distant future.
