Terribly sad news about the recent passing of Archer Maclean. He made some truly sensational games, from IK+ to Archer Maclean's Pool, and used to write wonderful columns for the magazine. Our thoughts go out to all his friends and family.

I thought I was ahead of where I usually was. But it’s 2am and I’m not in bed yet. Expect the usually 6 hours sleep at most. Christmas Eve isn’t for snoozing it seems.

Well this ends a week of shitty covid (for me at least). Starting to feel normal again, just hoping beyond hope that it doesn’t cause my wife a long covid relapse again.

Drilling for North Sea gas and fracking is something I really disagree with But it makes me fkking angry that it’s not part of a larger “energy independence” package that includes solar and onshore wind. Two of the cheapest and quickest ways to get an energy surplus in the UK

Can we please start putting up onshore wind turbines again? Stop the daft rules that make nimbyism much easier? Set up a loan scheme for solar panels and battery storage (so it pays for itself eventually) I’m not so against Nuclear, but, you know, do the cheap electricity too?
