Depending on who you talk to - Alabama has landed a total of 9 five-star recruits in their last two recruiting cycles…9!!! There is still the potential that they land maybe three in this class (I think a couple of guys could eventually get bumped). There are folks out there right now hitting send on comments about this Bama staff not being able to recruit. Don’t believe me - go look at comments on our YouTube channel. Look I get it - folks are worried about specific position groups. Pass rushers and so on. I fully understand, but to pretend Alabama has fallen off the face of the map just because they’re taking a smaller class and refuse to pay a million for a high school edge rusher is bonkers. As far as Ole Miss baseball goes, I’m very interested in who is returning. Several key guys have eligibility. As I’ve said before, I’d argue it’s financially more responsible for Elliott to stay one more year. Townsend and Rabe would benefit from another year with Mangrum
