It is 25 years today since the #Survivor Borneo premier first aired in Australia. 25 years ago today I was sitting on the floor of my living room watching 16 people jump off a boat into the South China Sea. Jeff said it would change their lives, it changed mine too.

One day I'll make it onto #SurvivorAU, but I fear this year is not the year it happens. Looking at the analytics of my application, it seems the first 10 sec missed the mark. As a large, hairy tie-dyed pirate once said "So much for my dreams" Can't wait to try again in 2026 😭

For the last few months, all the hype has been around which incredibly deep pull would be won over to play again. Turns out its a cast with maybe 1 unexpected yes and 23 people well known to be clammoring to play again. I'm happy for them, but its such a let down #Survivor50

JP: Don’t think that Mike White has not thought about that Nate: Do bonds work as an advantage on #Survivor? (Yeah, I think they do, Nate) JP: A lot of them are friends because they go to a charity event. Maybe we’ll be breaking the fourth wall about that. Gayle: In the hands of the fans. How much say do people really have? JP: Jeff says a lot. Fans voted on EVERYTHING. We’re now going to reveal in the game what the fans voted for because the players don't know. I know not everyone loved winners at war, but the hype I felt when that cast list leaked had me jumping out of my skin, the #Survivor50 cast leak, to put it nicely, does not. I’m glad we got the big impossible season at 40, because Survivor is a show that deserves it.

@FuckJohnFisher @brodenbruh @_FromTheIsland There were tribes of 6 before there were ever tribes of 9. The first season with 6 person tribes was season 8, the first season with tribes of 9 was season 9. Tribes of 6 are more “OG” than the tribes of 9 you are talking about 😂🤡
