Another year passes. I always like to highlight that Hillsborough is one of the main reasons that Kenny Dalglish is Liverpool's biggest legend. He attended every single funeral with his wife Marina, including 4 in one day. It goes well beyond football with Kenny. #JFT97

Hi @LidlGB. My wife was in your store today and was accused of shoplifting a bottle of Fairy laundry detergent which she previously purchased elsewhere . The store ‘detective’ went into her bag without her permission, they scanned said item and ok. Rude and disrespectful

TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY [1991] Directed by James Cameron ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without question one of the greatest, if not THE greatest action movie ever. Badass beyond all belief. Sequence after sequence of excellence. Here's a prime example, in its entirety:

@NickEGoldsmith I love that Sayles wrote this. It's a deceptively smart film.

The Red Wedding in Game of Thrones was a pleasant night out compared to the Red Wedding in Alligator (1980). My dad rented this as a family film 🤣😂 Despite its rubberiness, it holds up ridiculously well. The 80s had some brilliant creature features

Martin Ritt's HUD (1963) • Entering the Criterion Collection in July! criterion.com/films/30203-hud A family’s downfall becomes a stark elegy for the ideals of the American frontier in this quietly subversive reimagining of western myths.

@MiguelDelaney @JakeWatson_TV Of course is massively difficult for teams such as Leicester to win titles, as they just dont have the global revenues. The discussion should have been the inconceivablity that the ownership and the board have allowed LCFC to fall into League 1, and why it's actually happening

@NickEGoldsmith @JakeWatson_TV That wasn’t even what I said, though. You haven’t even listened properly. And by saying “it shouldn’t be this difficult for Leicester to win a title” is a criticism of a football system that is economically conditioned so only six clubs can win

@MiguelDelaney @JakeWatson_TV Using the common narrative that the entire football ownership community are brazen with their management. And going on to say that it shouldn't be difficult for a team like Leicester to be challenging for the Premier League just dilutes anything you have to say, period

@NickEGoldsmith @JakeWatson_TV how was it "virtue signalling" exactly? The point is that situations like this will keep recurring, with Leicester themselves again at risk of it, without this wider issue actually being addressed. It's an entirely logical and essential point.

@MiguelDelaney @JakeWatson_TV Charlotte was discussing the specific Leicester issue, that being the specific issue the section was about, and not some virtue signalling opinion on football as a whole. Wrong narrative, wrong time

Why isn't it "the time for it". There's a very strong argument that there's never been a more important time. All of this stems from English football's ownership problem, and this is an obvious manifestation of it. Charlotte was covering the specific Leicester issues, so there was little point me just repeating what she said.

The amount of people still backing Top & king power is staggering. Looking at back to back relegations and one of the biggest declines in world football and people think by dropping down to league one he’s automatically going to sort the club out.
