It’s the reason to love the sport but I have been trying to make logical sense behind Topuria losing and there just isn’t any. Volk, Holloway, Charles… but Gaethje looking for a clinch uppercut is the end of the world. Wow. Submission attempt at the end of R2 was the nail in the coffin, Ilia had him to the body- I don’t know what to say. I’ll happily put the hand up, didn’t think there was any chance. I’ll go with another Matchmaker Take this morning, this time for #UFC6. EA Sports should add a “Matchmaking” or “Dana White” mode where you get to run the UFC: book events, scout prospects, sign and cut fighters, and manage the roster from top to bottom. They should also let the community build and share fantasy rosters, so we can add fighters from outside the UFC and truly customize the experience. There’s clearly demand for this, especially considering how popular the WMMA series is. You could even expand it further by licensing Fight Pass promotions and integrating them into the game. WWE already has Universe Mode, and most other sports franchises offer “Be a GM” or Franchise-style modes, so why not UFC? It feels like a natural fit. That alone would make it an instant buy for me. #MMA #UFC
