What people refuse to accept is that this is intentional. Riot has invested big on creating “engagement based matchmaking”. The goal is no longer to appeal to competitive players and create a fair ladder. The goal is to reward their most engaged players.

@royalwinsmid MLBB is one of the most popular mobile games and has much bigger numbers than WR in terms of player base and viewership of esports events. If WR will take actions to become at least a competitor to MLBB I will be happy because now there is no competition.
