You're using your arbitrary criteria to suggest that a stepback is a purely individual action whereas a fadeaway J isn't.

Jokic’s assists include the ball handler taking 3 dribbles and then doing a whole step back to go away from the rim lmao. That’s not an assist

@zx0598 @CityLightSports He had enough help to win a ring as the clear #1, but wasn't able to get it done. Winning a ring barring Kyrie's injury is speculative although I do agree they would've been the favorites.
There are also many times he underperformed in the clutch as the #1 (13', 16', 22', 23')
