Oh, a really good concrete example of this. On Arch, when I run Python, it's version 3.13.3. Some of the AI stuff I've run breaks if it's run on any version other than 3.11, and the shell scripts included will just call python3 without regard for which version is actually installed. If you know about that problem, it's easy enough to fix, but it's something you have to actively look out for.

I played the demo last night and even in the demo there’s some lines that really irked me (like using “bae” instead of “oshi” or “fave”). It’s weird when you can’t speak Japanese but understand enough to know when a translation is totally wrong
It’s a nice game, what a shame.
