Fusaka cut gas fees 6×, making address poisoning cheap enough to scale This helped attackers increase poisoning volume 5.6× In 73 days after Fusaka, victims lost $63.3M This is 13× more than in the same period before the upgrade ($4.9M) Full article in reply 👇

Many wrote about the S&P 500 perp now on Hyperliquid but the press release forgot to mention it trades with 50x max leverage, the highest on the platform. Before this it was BTC at 40x.

@crypto_fruit @etherscan And the next upgrade, Glamsterdam, will likely push fees even lower. Has the Ethereum Foundation done anything to address poisoning?

@etherscan This is one of reasons why there cant be zero fees on transactions. Btw I think if fees go up amount of poisoning will fall.

@ethereanbull @etherscan Exactly. The fact that Ethereum still has no protocol-level spam prevention in 2026 is hard to explain for a network that calls itself trillion-dollar security infrastructure.

@etherscan if only there was a built in aspect of ethereum designed to prevent spam...

Mind you, it took 4 years to finally get a response thread and a potential fix. Anyway, everyone knows it’s a wallet issue, not a user issue. A lot of wallets (e.g,Trezor) show addresses in transaction history truncated as 0xAAA…AAA, which misleads the user into thinking they received double the money.

@feindura @etherscan @ERC725Account Interesting approach. My worry though is that this only really works if nearly everyone adopts it, and getting every wallet and explorer on board is a huge coordination challenge on its own.

After Fusaka cut gas fees 6x, address poisoning losses jumped 13x to $63M in just two months, and @ethereumfndn has done nothing to address this at the protocol level. The next upgrade, Glamsterdam, will lower fees even further, making the problem worse.

Toly is just another example of why $BTC is the perfect coin. It doesnt have a founder that suddenly wakes up and forgets his role in the crypto ecosystem and starts spouting nonsense about politics that nobody has asked him about.

Who decides in Nocturn that a specific transaction is actually a theft and not a legitimate transfer? If it's based on a victim's report, how does the system know it's not a malicious report exploiting the rescue mechanism? And when a rescue is triggered, where exactly do the funds go?

"Burn down the legitimacy of existing paradigms" @VitalikButerin challenges us to rethink DAOs from scratch: Privacy by default. AI for preference expression, humans for accountability. Most DAOs today just move money from A to B—we can do so much more.

My favorite kind of SR is one that fakes their wallet getting drained (never provides proof) Then has another SR(security researcher) make a big show of it with a donation wallet, that they control and will hand over to the hacked person after a set period Heh🫢 I could mention names, but they have many friends

Despot rules through violence. They coerce people to commit violence against those disloyal to them. If a despot builds a hospital, it’s an act of coercion. Putin coerced people into the military. So Ukrainians have to fight innocent civilians coerced into service. Because of this, non despots have their representatives create rules of engagement for their militaries and judges to enforce them. Ultimately the moral culpability of all the violence by both sides is at the hands of the despot because they are the original root of coercion. No despot, no coerced military firing ballistic missiles, no rockets fired at the launch sites, no civilian casualties. It’s the same power structure as a drug cartel. They rule through violence. All the death and destruction to bring them to justice is at their hands.

I think @SEAL_911 integrity is compromised. The leader @samczsun deleted all his tg convo since 2021. - He removed Transparency. - He trusted without verifying (attachment) - He removed me from the discord I'm not a thief and I can prove it. That's the beauty of the chain u mf

Exactly what I said, it's pretty straightforward imo "Take bribe from Team X to fake investigate or ignore, hide thier wrong doings" In some cases even do the cover up 💀 I call them professional Rug Cleaners🦄 That's not to say they don't investigate the people paying them... no no, they keep leverage so they can extort😂🗣️

@elyx0 @SEAL_911 @samczsun Seal 911 never had integrity the way I see it Too many people playing both sides, too many people who take bribes, too many people who actively manipulate woman and others physically, mentally and emotionally
