فعلاً البيئة الجغرافية التي ولد فيها الإسلام كانت محدودة في نطاق الجزيرة العربية اللي فيها مناخ حار وصحراوي وتتابع الليل والنهار فيها ثابت نسبياً على مدار السنة لذلك كثير من الأحكام التعبدية في الإسلام مرتبطة بمفاهيم زمنية وجغرافية بسيطة: أوقات الصلاة مرتبطة بحركة الشمس طلوع، زوال غروب الصيام مرتبط بالفجر والغروب. لكن يبدوا أن الله ماكان يعرف عن المناطق القطبية أو الشمالية !! (زي النرويج، السويد، آيسلندا…) فيه أشهر ما تغيب فيها الشمس إطلاقًا أو ما تشرق أصلاً فتصبح هذه الأحكام غير قابلة للتطبيق حرفياً خصوصاً في موضوع الصلاة والصيام
