On the bright side, America East Rookie of the Year David Bolden will be returning next year for the highlanders. This was crucial for Coach Grant to be able to retain NJIT’s second conference rookie of the year in the last 3 season. Bolden will be the focal point of the offense

Tariq Francis departed for Rutgers. These guys were huge pieces of what led the highlanders to their first home playoff game ever. Although it hurts the highlander faithful, we wish them the best of luck at the next stops.

So far, NJIT has had 3 players enter the transfer portal, including our 2 all conference players Sebastian Robinson and Ari Fulton. As well as rotation big man Malachi Arrington. These are some huge losses for NJIT, especially following last year when (Part 1)

NJIT’s Ari Fulton will hit the transfer portal, he told @TheFieldOf68. The 6-7 sophomore guard averaged 10.9 points and 6.2 rebounds this season. Has started 52 games in his two years with NJIT.

FINAL: NJIT defeats Maine 60-58 for its first-ever America East tournament win.
Fulton scored the last 6 points and hit the baseline J in the final second to win this. He was tremendous down the stretch and finished with 12, while Robinson had a game-high 21. Much more to come!

None the less. I was correct that game was cinema till the end. Hoping these two have the chance to meet one more time just for the pure love of the game. Would be one of the most elite mid major matchups of the year in the conference tournament.

Gus has gotta be so sad. Big Ten and Big East were clearly too much for him. Instead he has to spend his time in Burlington Vermont with absolutely nothing to do. Couldn’t handle it at all. Never see someone complain so much in a basketball game in my life it’s embarrassing
