@GitaiGizou i REALLY hate to fucking say it, but... super smash bros is not only one of the most popular competitive fighting games in the world, but it also has emergent strategy that has far more to do with nuanced positioning and timing than a tightly-designed RPS

I've always said, videogames don't cause violence, violence caused videogames.

Tekken is (traditionally) the only mainstream fighting game that doesn't play into an arbitrary triangle system, and much more closely resembles real world combat strategy. Like, actual strategy that's been studied for millennia, not the vibes-based video game kind
