@UchePOkoye No need to argue, what he said applies to every part of Nigeria, Igbos inclusive. I learnt this in Abia in 2015 & 2019, especially 2019 election. Ikpeazu was messing up real bad but his Ngwa people stood with him firmly.

A typical Nigerian prefers a bad leader from his tribe than a good leader from another tribe. This is how our problems started ✍️

One of my small cousins that just started walking 2 years ago called me on Monday, asking for financial help. As he was explaining, I told him to give me till Saturday. Next thing, the boy burst into tears and started saying God hasn’t been fair to him.
I just smiled and gave him a small assignment. I asked him how much was his current monthly salary. He said ₦180,000. I told him, “no problem. From January till now, calculate everything you’ve spent. As much as you can remember and send it to me before Saturday.”
This morning, he sent a total of over ₦800,000. I asked him, “but your salary from January till now should be around ₦540,000. Where did the extra ₦260,000 come from?" He couldn’t explain it.
Then I told him, “that extra money you can’t account for, that’s God showing up for you.”
Then I sent him the help he asked for and told him again “this one too na God.”
👉🏼 never let your situation push you to the point where you conclude that God has abandoned you. The fact you're alive is evident that God hasn't abandoned you, it’s just that we haven’t been paying attention.

This is a lazy argument wrapped in sarcasm.
By your logic, if governance is “working,” everyone abroad should immediately pack their bags and come home? So why haven’t millions returned to Nigeria as a whole? Or is that standard only convenient when you want to mock Alex Otti?
People don’t relocate based on vibes or a few months of policy changes. Migration is driven by deep economic structures like jobs, industry, trade access and long-term stability.
If you’re serious about development, ask bigger questions like:
Why are the seaports in the Niger Delta underutilized?
Why is trade still bottlenecked in one region?
Why aren’t we decentralizing economic opportunities so people can actually thrive in their states?
Fix those structural issues and you won’t need to beg people to return. They will come naturally.
Until then, this “how many have moved back” line isn’t insightful but it’s just noise.
Sammy Desh@Deshysmalls
Since Alex Otti took over in Abia State, how many Abians have moved back home from diaspora and other parts of Nigeria due to his "wonderful" policies and achievements?

This is what happens when bias replaces facts.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Premier League run wasn’t just good it was historic.
In just 6 seasons at Manchester United, he delivered:
• 3 Premier League titles
• 1 Champions League
• 1 Ballon d’Or (first in United history since Best)
• 2 PFA Player of the Year awards
• 1 Golden Boot (31 league goals in 07/08 — outrageous for that era)
And he did it as the main guy, not just another piece in a well-oiled system.
Now let’s add context since some of you are just typing with vibes:
• Agüero — 5 Premier Leagues, yes. But zero UCLs, zero Ballon d’Ors, and never once the best player in the world. Elite striker, but let’s not force a debate that doesn’t exist.
• Salah — 2 Premier Leagues, 1 UCL, 2 POTYs. Top-tier, no doubt. But peak-for-peak? Not touching Ronaldo.
• Henry — 2 Premier Leagues, 2 POTYs. Arsenal legend, undeniable. But no UCL at Arsenal and never hit Ronaldo’s global dominance.
Let’s be serious for a second comparing Ronaldo to these guys in terms of peak impact is like bringing a calculator to a gunfight.
Some of you weren’t watching football, you were watching highlights and arguing off TikTok clips.
Ronaldo didn’t just win , he dominated, carried, and left England as the best player on the planet.
If you’re still downplaying that, it’s not analysis
Arsenal fans have little to no ball knowledge and it’s been known for a while but this is discovery

Ronaldo has no legacy in the premier league

So you were expecting Olamide to to be anti-establishment before?
You people will listen to their songs. Hear the part where Fireboy DML told you it was Seyi Tinubu who’s sponsoring him via YBNL. Hear Olamide himself hail ‘Asiwaju’ and Seyi repeatedly. Hear him hail IBD Dende. Hail Kwam 1. Think about anyone you consider part of the problem in Nigeria, these celebrities worship them.
How do you guys think Entertainment survives in Nigeria? Look at your population, more than half is extremely poor. When a musician buys a Rolls Royce, where do you think the money comes from? From you or the establishment?
Well, if you must know today, celebrity lifestyle or soft life in Nigeria is sustained by the rot in the system, and expecting any Nigerian celebrity to be genuinely anti-establishment is peak delusion.

As the solicitor to the family of the late Ochanya, I have been hesitant and very cautious about making public statements regarding this tragic case.
However, people have been tagging and reaching out to me for clarifications.
@Winifunds has very serious questions to answer regarding what she knows about the circumstances of the death of Miss Ochanya.
I have attached certified excerpts from the judgement of the Federal High Court sitting in Makurdi, delivered on 28th April, 2022 in the charge filed by NAPTIP against Mrs. Felicia Ogbuja (Winifred’s mother).
Mrs Felicia was convicted and sentenced to five months imprisonment for failing to protect the late Ochanya who was under her care.
If you read page 14 of the judgement, you will see that Winifred’s name came up in the course of the proceedings. A witness testified under oath that Winifred caught her brother (Victor Ogbuja), who is still on the run, and reported to their father, Mr. Andrew Ogbuja.
Based on what I know, Winifred refused or failed to cooperate with the investigators.
She failed to make a statement regarding her role in the case. Efforts by investigators to get to her proved abortive.
If she had cooperated, it would have likely had a profound impact on the quest for justice for Ochanya.
That is all that I can say at this time.

@sam_jefe @AbujaPresident @Josiahidam Lol. I witnessed Abia politics in Ikpeazu's 2nd term bid.
His Ngwa people went all out for him even though he was a failure in his 1st term.
English

@AbujaPresident @Josiahidam Not igbos, they call it as it is that's why they are hated across my Nigeria.
English

@rwg6cdcpjx @AbujaPresident @LorddBonee Igbos are not excluded my dear. There was a reason Ngwa people gave Okezie Ikpeazu tremendous support to go for 2nd term knowing fully well he was a disastrous failure in his 1st. Same with Nsukka and Ugwuanyi. These two I witnessed live.
English

@AbujaPresident @LorddBonee Exclude Igbos from that equation. It is only Yoruba and Fulani that have that mentality.

Usually, I’d ignore this, but this is exactly how false narratives stick.
Never seen anyone here criticizing Ogun state for lack of investments. It is common knowledge that most manufacturing companies in Lagos have their industries in Ogun (basically because of more affordable lands for establishment) while Head offices are in Lagos state (the commercial capital of Nigeria).
What people here criticize Ogun state for is mostly about the bad roads, and there are usually video evidences.
Before Otti, I don’t think any sane person would throw in $35m to invest in Abia.
It is laughably cunning of you to try to twist this narrative.
You can celebrate the companies in Ogun state, and permit Abians to celebrate the just established one in their state, no?
Alhaji Tao Of Iperu💡🦅🖤🇳🇬@TaoFeek182
It is surprising how people who always criticize Ogun State are the ones celebrating a “minerals” company in Abia State in 2026. Over here, we see stuff like this as a normal thing.. 🙄

I’ve never shared this before:
I was stranded in Lagos once. Lost my purse in a crowded bus.
So I just stood by the side of the road, helpless, trying to call someone, anyone.
Then one Hausa man approached me, I could tell from his accent. Asked what happened, helped me catch a new bus, paid for it, made sure I got to exactly where I was going.
And in that moment, I realized:
All this talk about tribe? It’s nonsense. Wickedness runs in your blood if you have an issue with tribe.

Some people are really struggling.
A man brought his 3-year-old boy to the hospital. The child had been febrile and convulsing.
He was asked to make a deposit of ₦100,000 before the boy could be admitted.
Without saying much, he broke down.
For five minutes, he cried bitterly
Then he told us: they hadn't eaten in two days. There was nowhere he could get that kind of money.
He said he would have let the boy die at home—but he didn't have the heart. Coming to the hospital was his last resort.
It was as though cold water was poured on all of us.
We quickly admitted the boy. We treated him for free.
The hospital even sponsored his meals while he was on admission.
---
Sometimes, it's good to let people see your vulnerability. Especially when you know you can't help yourself.
Not everyone who walks through our doors is trying to scam us. Some are simply at the end of their rope.
Thank God we listened.
