(1) Klaesson ny Vikingkeeper: RA melder at 24 år gamle Kristoffer Klaesson blir Viking sin nye keeper. Klaesson var keeper for Vålerenga mellom 2019 og 2021. Da ble han solgt til Leeds United i England.

Kristoffer Klaesson til Viking må kunne sies å være en sterk signering. Påvirker ikke utlendingskvoten, god alder og videresalgspotensial. Selvsagt en del usikkerhet rundt Klaesson også, men totalt sett mye bedre signering enn mange andre navn som er nevnt.

@EAIvers @vikingfotball Var svak på u21 laget til Leeds og i 2024 fikk han sparken i Polen, lite spilletid i Danmark og kræsjet på E6 i «høy» fart. Nødløsning og svært risikabel signering om han er tiltenkt noe annet enn reservekeeper…

I wrote this week about this January window being the most pivotal in 49ers Enterprises tenure of #LUFC They have talked previously about being “aggressive” in transfer markets. 3 points separate 1st and 4th. If it were me I’d be prioritising a GK, a 10 and a set-piece coach.

@marshyleeds @TEAMtalk Bamford and Meslier should be loaned out if buyers can’t be found, and replaced. The writing has been on the wall for long time and would be better for everyone and their careers. Bad for 49’ers as they need to show some ambition with their wallet.

Farke says Rutter will be off regardless of the attempts by #LUFC to keep him. Says club has sorted any P & S concerns prior but that they are legally bound to honour the release clause. Player has said an emotional goodbye today.

The 49ers can be rightly annoyed with the release clauses written into player contracts before their majority purchase of the club, however they have just 16 days to vastly improve the squad ahead of the upcoming campaign. If Georginio leaves, he will become the fourth key asset of last season’s squad to depart - following Glen Kamara, Archie Gray, and Cry Summerville out the door, with 3/4 having their release clauses activated; however these 4 players will see Leeds receive more money in transfer fees than any other club in Europe this summer as things stand. So far, only Jayden Bogle has been an adequate replacement brought in to cover any of the holes left by these departures - attempting to cover up the void left by Archie at right back. As of yet, no other cash has been reinvested in filling the Kamara, Summerville, and soon to be Georginio shaped holes in the squad with just over two weeks left of the transfer window remaining. A big 16 days ahead for the 49ers, and a crucial period of the season they have to get right with very little excuses available to not heavily reinvest a strong portion of the outgoing player sales revenue. #LUFC

@KasperWikestad Synes ikke Farke har brukt han rett. Passer best på vingen hvor han får plass. Er en spiller med stort hjerte og som vil bli savnet i Leeds.

Føler jeg blir litt negativ her, men til tross for en flott sesong sist, har ikke Rutter vist at han har et høyt nivå i Premier League. Brighton kan være de som får det ut, men er skeptisk. Frykter litt for trøbbel for Brighton den kommende sesongen

@GrahamSmyth Was another one saying Leeds did not need to sell due to P&S. Well done selling the ‘only’ player proud of playing for the club. Good luck building a team based on players that dont want to be in the Club(summerville, Gnonto, Aaronsen etc) and just focus on themselves.

This story really shows up the darker side of P&S. At no time has there been a sense that Gray has been pushing to leave Leeds this summer. But Leeds had to sell an asset, Gray is 'pure profit' (a rancid term for a teenager) and nothing is close right now with Summerville.
