Next Friday, our Forest School will be transformed into a festive winter wonderland. As a well-deserved WELL DONE for the children’s hard work this term, we are inviting pupils to come to school in warm/waterproof clothing, ready for a day of festive fun in the Forest School 🎄

This week we lit the first candle on our Advent wreath, symbolising Hope. At OLST, we’re bringing hope to others through our charitable giving. Our Reverse Advent Calendar is filling up for @FatherHudsons 🌟Although we are a small school, @OLST_CUBB certainly has a big heart ❤️

This morning,the children’s liturgy group lit the first candle on the advent wreath, celebrating the start of a special season…a time of togetherness and hopefulness! We are lucky to have such an inclusive, thriving and community-led parish at the heart of our school community⛪️

We’re feeling festive after the Cubbington Christmas Lights Switch-On this evening! ✨🎄 The OLST choir took a starring role, serenading the crowd beautifully 🎶 We even had our own OLST mascot, “Santa Paws”! 🐶🎅

Today, our Pupil Principal, Freya appointed Finlay as her Deputy Head before getting straight to work… greeting everyone at the gates, meetings, visiting classrooms, and even taking on break and lunch duty. The day finished with a brilliant assembly! Well done, Freya and Finlay!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS… 🗳️ The votes are in, and the results for our Pupil Principal Election are announced! Well done to our candidates for their fantastic campaigns. Stay tuned as we reveal our Pupil Principal and look forward to seeing them take charge of the school this Friday!

This afternoon, Claire has visited us from @mytonhospices to tell us all about the amazing work that the charity do, and give us an opportunity to support them to help others 🙏

We’re excited to be taking part in @UKParliament Week as we explore democracy in action. Our school has transformed into a polling station, and pupils are voting to elect our Pupil Principal! We can’t wait to share the election results with you!!

A big thank you to Éirinn, Iris and Rowan for decorating OLST’s Christmas tree at St Mary’s Church in Warwick. We’re thrilled to be positioned in the Beauchamp Chapel, right next to the plaque marking Princess Anne’s recent visit… talk about good company with @RoyalFamily ! 👑🎄

Best of luck to Heidi, Madison, Blake and Lucas as they represent OLST at the Magnificat General Knowledge Quiz this morning! They’ll be taking part in friendly competition with pupils from all 15 primary schools across our trust. Go team OLST! 🎉🧠✨

A big OLST well done to George in Year 5! His ongoing volunteering with Zoe’s Place is truly inspiring. Today he’s taking on a very special role as Santa’s Helper at their Christmas Fayre. What a fantastic example of service and generosity in action! 🎅❤️

✨Jubilee of Hope 2025✨ This morning, we joined schools across the diocese for the Jubilee finale event, taking time to pause, pray and reflect on the word HOPE. Our Mini Vinnies wanted to share their poem of Hope with everyone and join us in spreading a little HOPE today ❤️

Our Thursday Open Mornings have been so successful, we have decided to make them a permanent feature of our school calendar. If you are looking for a Reception place for September 2026, or would like an in-year transfer to our school, come along and visit us!

This Anti Bullying Week, the pupils at OLST have a very important message to share ☺️

Today we gathered for a moving Service of Remembrance. Pupils,staff and governors laid wreaths in honour of all who have given their lives in conflict. At 11am,we joined the nation in a two-minute silence, praying for peace in our world and in our hearts. “We will remember them.”
