@LorcanaJustice Also @Bunneh_ito for going 5-2 on the deck.....with @moxjeremy for being a guinea pig this whole week of testing worked out :D
English

Great time at bologna, tanked the main event. will be Thursday traveling for me from now on. Just glad @LorcanaJustice is doing the deck we cooked up proud 🥲 shout out to Atlantas who created Brainiac.Totally one to watch for future deck lists Everything they cook up is cracked!
English

@NeilandBradley Eyyy welcome to the club :D seems we are on the same flight
English

@Lorcanadecks A man after my own heart playing GS <3
English

@Lorcanadecks @BradenMTG @moxjeremy i totally agree, i think the correct "shortcut" would be i challenge with A and B char...the outcome is the outcome. You shouldn't declare what happens to my character in that situation since it might pressure a less skilled/confident player to do your outcome even if it's wrong.
English

@BradenMTG @moxjeremy ...removes clarity and makes you bulletproof (which you stated is your intent with using this kind of language).
I think there is a lot to be discussed around which approach actually delivers clarity of communication. Declaring intent supports clarity, shortcuts reduce clarity.
English

@moxjeremy Clarabelle is a may trigger, it's a hard one since how do you treat it vs diablo and more relevant Donald duck? and a chromicon trigger?
English

@LorcanaJustice @NeilandBradley In all realities, I would probably just call a judge...since I hate having to make extra decisions in and before a tournament (I have strange weird rituals) :D
English

There's a lot of layers here, it's not as if the player just challenged with Pete expecting it to banish, they clearly understood the scenario, but overlooked how the remaining resist affected the Tiana. I don't think there's much case to be made here that he could have possibly been angle shooting for his opponent to forget the resist.
English

What do you think of take backs, I'm not talking about the local scene, but competitively.
Seeing Sunday's final back again, was not only awkward for Sky but I really dislike anyone asking, you feel obliged to say yes and are put in a corner.
Braldey knows how I feel about take backs, during a set champs he asked his OP if he can take back, obviously the OP felt pressured to say yes, but Braldey then won the same turn. I was fuming, probably went OTT raging dad mode, but I really don't expect my son to be pressuring people to take back bad plays. He loses that game, and should of conceded the game, the OP gives him the win, which I didn't appreciate.
He knows now, no take backs for himself or the OP. You live by your mistakes and so does the opponent. These competitions are high stakes and you play fair if you want to win.
How does everyone else feel in these situations, do you think as a collective, people shouldn't even be considering asking this question during matches?
English

@LorcanaJustice @NeilandBradley No of course the isn't a case in the PPG instant, I'm mainly curious in the idea of having to use "shortcuts" in an untimed match. I don't think it's wrong to ask for correct sequencing, but I also don't think it's my job to remind my opponent of every single game state.
English

@LorcanaJustice @NeilandBradley yeah reading your response and Neil's tweet made me listen to the space. it's really interesting since i remember in a DLC top cut i remember someone getting forced to Bruno there own character due to attempting to play it on a Muses. Maybe i should be joining these spaces :D
English

You can read my full thoughts in the linked tweet. I don't think it's angle shooting to for player receiving the challenge to request proper sequencing, if anything I think that's the most neutrally correct thing to do in this instance (ask your opponent to resolve each challenge individually, and to properly declare which one they are doing first).
If anything, allowing them to do two challenges at the same time and placing damage for both veers a lot closer to angle shooting, you're purposefully accepting an shortcut which you have good reason to believe is does not match your oppoent's intentions.
