Transplanted these pumpkin seedlings at 11 AM this morning went back at 3 PM to water and already saw one that was cut by a black cut worm. Keep an eye on your transplants, especially if you’ve done any tillage or sprayed herbicides. This tends to make the caterpillars move.

Squash yellowing & wilting. I suspect squash vine borer; possibly bacterial wilt. Squash vine borer will cause a hole filled with green to orange frass near base of plant. Bacteria wilt is a possibility but more common on pumpkin & cucumber than on squash
