Cohort A got to check out new literacy centers. Some are old favorites, but many new, tackling skills to make us stronger readers and writers. Takes time to create these safely, but love watching them work on the floor, on yoga mats, in the cubby area! Anywhere they can learn!
Congratulations to Mrs. Perro! Thanks to our parent community she was a WINNER in the @StaplesStores#ThankATeacher campaign, and Oak Street was awarded $5,000 worth of Staples supplies. Thank Staples Thank you @AngelaKinsey and HUGE Thank you to @mrs_perro!
I am absolutely happiest when kindergarten looks and feels like kindergarten! When sharing “something they liked today” with their home friends 4/6 said painting apples... one other said everything 😍 sometimes the paint is just what you (and they) need! 🍎🍏 #kindergarten
Today was a big day! We all did our best learning on the computer and making this nook in my house a mini classroom. The biggest request I had yesterday was to make sure Echo came home with me to do fundations! The smiles when he “flew” onto the screen were the best! 😂👏
K/1 teachers felt the love and support this week. Thank you to everyone who checked in, offered support or rolled up their sleeves and jumped in. Reason number 64 I love Oak Street School! 💙 #oakststories
It hurts my heart to read comments that describe teachers as lazy. Nothing about teaching virtually is easy. As I begin planning and setting up my classroom..please give the teachers in your life the grace we need. I love your child and I haven’t even met them yet. #VBHasJoy
What to make someone happy? Make a card for the residents of Cedarwood Gardens in Franklin who would love to get a handmade card from you! Check out my video and slideshow for ideas! youtube.com/watch?v=I3J-xD…#slide=id.p" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.google.com/presentation/d…
