@realkenwillis Depends on the org and contract! You might want to dive deeper into all of this before you even start to compare the FGC to other esports prize pools!

@OgGeek2016 You are misunderstanding. The org and players split the prize pool winnings 80/20-60/40 as an average.

@realkenwillis That another point you're missing... Since the games you listed are mainly pro teams, the player might not get a cent from the prize pool. All that money goes to the org and the percentage the players get all depends on their contract.

@OgGeek2016 You know the average salary for a pro CoD player is $80,000/yr minimum right? That is before the prize pool split which ranges anywhere from 80/20-60/40 on average.

@realkenwillis I was going off the prize pools in your post, but you're almost missing the fact that a lot of these other tourneys have pro teams, everything is split, and other expenses are accounted for before the players get paid. The final payout per player could be smaller than you think!
