🧵 Final Update 1/ this case officially ended today after 18 months and numerous delays due to covid. In the end they decided to settle. I can’t talk about the specific terms of settlement but I will say that no money was involved and every other point was taken as a definite

A former DJ who was caught with nearly 3,000 images of child sexual abuse has been given a fully suspended sentence. Judge Martin Nolan today noted that possession of child sexual abuse material is a "well-trodden crime" in Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. @sally_ann4 I'm so glad! Also, I don't know your situation (medical card/DPS etc) but if you need these regularly it might be worth chatting to your GP - they might not be covered on prescription but if you get referred an occupational therapist or even your public health nurse they will
