I don't get the actual strategy (if any) he explained on the video. But from prior interviews, he have 10+ algos running for SPX, so my guess is his pnl is aggregated from all those algos (mostly short volatility), see the video Fauzia shared on YouTube, he explained a few. I will still stick to watching gex and trade, don't have the brains or balls to put on credit spreads every 30 mins.

When the daily charts aren’t aligned in the indexes, it’s tough for day traders. I focus on times when all indexes align because that's when we get the cleanest moves. But right now, the charts show a mixed situation, making things bumpy. If you bought the dip in strong markets today, like ES or YM, you might have managed to squeak out a win or minimize your losses. Markets with two-way action, like the NQ and the RTY, are the ones to short or avoid buying dips for now. It’s all about context and nuance.

On Friday, my strategy triggered a mean reversion trade in #ES_F #MES_F As long as we have a daily close tomorrow below 5550, I will look to have on a swing short position with a stop above Friday's high and a target of 5450. I started my initial position tonight at 5532.50.

I don't love fading primary trends, but this is a A setup on my strategy. It is important that I short rallies, not sell into breaks. The key with a mean reversion trade is to be small. If it works, it will be a small win. If its wrong, it will be a small loss.
