@DeeOneAyekooto There is no two options. Na only one and that is mend fences with those aggrieved members, Kachikwu n Bala. Persuade them to withdraw the cases from court. All these must happen with few days. Otherwise Status Quo Ante Bellum is still in effect.

He's APC spokesperson for stating the true position of the law and the implications of the useless steps your party is taking. Ignore him, go ahead to fuck around and you'll find out, the APC had their fair share in Zamfara and Plateau states, heaven did not fall.
Peacock@dawisu

For a moment, I forgot he is the INEC Chairman and thought he was the APC spokesperson. Where is the neutrality expected of an election umpire? 🤔

Leadership Without Compassion is Not Leadership During his visit to Benue State in June 2025, Bola Ahmed Tinubu stopped at the Government House but did not go to the actual scene where innocent Nigerians lost their lives. Similarly, yesterday in Jos, his engagement ended at the airport instead of at the affected communities. What happened in Plateau yesterday highlights a complete absence of leadership. True leadership requires presence, empathy, compassion, and a willingness to meet people where their pain truly lies. For citizens who have just lost loved ones, homes, and their sense of safety, being addressed from an airport tarmac is profoundly inadequate. This approach exacerbates the sense of abandonment already felt by innocent Nigerians who have endured repeated cycles of violence without meaningful protection or justice. Plateau deserves more than distant words; it requires urgent action and a clear commitment to ending the insecurity that continues to claim innocent lives. In such moments, leadership must not only be visible but also tangible—standing with victims, listening to survivors, and acknowledging the depth of their grief. If we truly desire a better Nigeria, we must demand leadership that is present, responsive, and responsible at all times. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

ADC Leadership: I Disagree With the Conclusions Reached By INEC - Osaze Uzzi In INEC's extrapolation of the Court of Appeal's order, I have reservations: the court did not instruct INEC to withdraw recognition from either faction. It simply stated that all parties to the action should refrain from doing anything that would render the likely judgment nugatory. If I were advising the ADC, I would suggest they proceed with their plans, provided that doing so does not impinge on the majesty of the courts or their ability to deliver justice in the case. 'Let us come together' — PRP woos Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso after ADC leadership crisis The People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has urged top chieftains of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, to unite under the party to safeguard Nigeria’s democracy. The call came amid the leadership crisis rocking the ADC, culminating in the derecognition of the David Mark-led leadership of the party and Nafiu Bala Gombe faction by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). thecable.ng/let-us-come-to…

ADC Crisis:"...ADC should tell Nigerians the truth... What is the judgment/order that the Appeal Court gave that made ADC go on appeal to the Supreme Court...? ..if the order made was not against them, would they have appealed to the Supreme Court...?" - Nyesom Wike, Minister of FCT Wike knows every details of the ADC case more than Peter Obi, Aregebesola etc

ADC Claims Bala-Gombe Resigned, But the Signature in the Document is Doctored - Monday They wrote the letter, signed it, and backdated it just to drag Bala-Gombe through the mud. They claimed he resigned on 17th May 2025, but it took them months to inform INEC he had left. There are a lot of gaps. Dr Abimiku Monday, SA on Strategic Communications, to Nafiu Bala-Gombe

Is this how you people want to run opposition again? In 2023, you were busy falling on campaign podiums, turning serious politics into a comedy show, mocking a man who was quietly doing the real work, building alliances, counting numbers, and planning victory. While you were chasing clout, he was chasing strategy. The result is already in the history books. Now instead of learning, regrouping, and coming back smarter, you are still here posting rubbish, confusing opposition with performance. Politics is not skit-making. It is structure, calculation, and discipline. That is why you lost then, and that is exactly how you are preparing to lose again. If this is the level of thinking, then 2027 is already looking familiar. You will gather at the collating center again, full of energy but empty on strategy, recycling the same mistakes and expecting a different outcome. Keep playing. The game is not waiting for you.

INEC was actually in the wrong and too forward to list David Mark and Aregbesola's names on their website. I guess they only did that to appease the opposition figures and avoid all the accusations they're still getting today now.

@HAHayatu What ADC legal team need to do by now to ask for the timely hearing of the case while strong negotiations is going on underground with Bala and his team. Mind you there is another court case between Nwosu group and Dumebi group that's yet determined oo.

The ADC should please hand powers to Ralph Nwosu to conduct the Congress and convention as planned. This is to avoid issues that may invalidate Congresses later. The court said status quo ante bellum so the status quo ante bellum is Ralph Nwosu and others.

Go and read my take on the saga. It is here and everywhere. Did he act outside the law? He applied the law correctly in accordance with judicial precedent. You people won't call out ADC leaders who cooked their fates by needlessly rushing to the Court of Appeal

@AbdulMahmud01 So the "world Press conference" is the problem now? You told the world you could vouch for his character. Didn't take up to a year for him to prove you wrong Sir.

World Press Conference, populated by local journos, reduced to the hollow refrain: Sack the INEC Chairman. Noise dressed up as outrage. Nigerians must begin to look beyond this parade of unserious opposition figures long on bluster, short on action.

The NDC is growing rapidly, and due to its appeal, Nigerians from all walks of life across the country are rushing to join our ideological party. Today, in the company of some National Officers of the NDC, it was a pleasure to receive a team of experienced politicians from Kebbi State who are decamping from their various parties—the ADC, PDP, and the APC, to strengthen the NDC in Kebbi. I thanked them for identifying with our party and urged them, in line with NDC ideals, to build an inclusive and democratic party. I also again thank Nigerians for their confidence in the NDC and its ideology, and enjoin all Nigerians not to give up on our democracy and our nation. The NDC is the clear alternative to this ruthless, undemocratic, and oppressive government of the ruling party—the APC, and I urge all who disagree with the APC to join the NDC and channel their energies into supporting its growth so we can, together, provide credible candidates who will restore Nigeria. —HSD.
