When truth speaks to power. The truth is Western nations had the power to stop Israel's genocide. Instead, Western leaders colluded to ensure it continued. We're all responsible for the genocide in Gaza.
Drop Site@DropSiteNews

🗣️“We can blame the Israelis for committing genocide in Gaza all we want. But the fact of the matter is, we committed genocide in Gaza.” – Dr. @FerozeSidhwa, an America trauma surgeon who volunteered multiple times in Gaza over the post two years, told the California Democratic Convention Progressive Caucus on Saturday. He told the audience that what he witnessed in Gaza felt like a “prelude to the end of humanity,” and what we’re now experiencing in the United States is a “small fraction of what can happen when the end of humanity comes home.” “Acknowledging what we have done in Gaza and facing the truth will not be easy,” Dr Sidhwa stated. “Facing the truth will reveal that some of the people you thought had normal human values are actually monsters. Good. That’s exactly the point. Let’s figure out who wants to make the world a better place, and then let’s go do it.”

🔹NBC: We saw people living in severe poverty in Havana. Is it time to take responsibility and change the Cuban system? Why not follow China or Vietnam which have embraced one-party rule while also embracing market economies? 🇨🇺 President Díaz-Canel: We study their models closely. But they were under sanctions for about a decade. Cuba has faced more than 60 years of blockade. That is the difference. They were able to develop once restrictions eased. Cuba has not had that opportunity. We are an island 90 miles from the United States, under constant pressure. When China and Vietnam began their development, they started from less favorable conditions than Cuba has today. So the real question is: lift the blockade and see what Cuba can do. If we have achieved this much under pressure, what could we achieve without it? If Cuba is truly weak, as some claim, then why has the United States spent decades trying to isolate and undermine it? Why not let it fail on its own? The answer is clear.

🚨Israel is engineering famine in Gaza This morning, Israeli authorities allowed shipments into Gaza filled with jelly sweets, Nutella, and large quantities of soft drinks like Coca-Cola,while systematically restricting the entry of life-saving essentials. No chemotherapy. No basic medicines. No infant formula. Not even enough flour.

Spanish women’s handball players sparked anger in Israel after wearing pro-Palestinian symbols during their Euro qualifiers match in Granada, which they won 31–13. Israeli media reported slogans, including “from the river to the sea,” displayed on their shoes.

Is Apple deleting place names from its map of southern Lebanon? I emailed Apple to fact check this viral claim & I’m publishing its bullshit response in full as a teachable moment. This ‘on background’ crap is how tech companies avoid accountability. 1/

I literally had to go see this for myself. Sure enough. Apple Maps has removed almost every town in Lebanon from the map while keeping every podunk town in Israel and Syria clearly marked.

Asked about Israel’s illegal occupation and killing in Lebanon and the Prime Minister can’t bring himself to even mention Israel in answer. Of course nothing at all about sanctions to stop Israel’s continuous threats to international peace and brutality. He has some “regrets”

An estimated one thousand former and current soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces are living in Australia. Some of them were in Gaza. The International Court of Justice has found a plausible risk of genocide in that operation. Despite repeated submissions to @Tony_Burke The government will not answer the question are these soldiers being monitored by @AFP are they allowed to hold a gun licence despite being at severe risk of PTSD? Will any journalist ask? @PatsKarvelas @FergusonNews michaelwest.com.au/okay-ben-rober…

#auspol In 2020 a national Roy Morgan poll found that 83% of Australians support war powers reform. Today that figure has jumped to 90%. It’s time to listen to voters - the whole parliament should vote before we take part in any war overseas. warpowersreform.org.au/opinion-polls/

Trump and Netanyahu’s war with Iran immediately closed the Strait of Hormuz, they continued the war allegedly to reopen it, eventually agreeing to a ceasefire with Iran to open it, now the US plans to blockade it themselves. These are not allies. End AUKUS, sanction Israel.

Did I mention Labor, One Nation and the Coalition all cheered this war on. They wanted it. The war parties are reckless with Australia’s future. One party, the Greens, opposed this awful, destructive and illegal war from the beginning.

I don’t know if anyone will care, but at this moment our lives are being erased, not just destroyed, in a way that is unprecedented and hard to comprehend. Everything is becoming suffocating, as if life itself is being shut down step by step until nothing remains. Everything that makes survival possible is being blocked: construction materials, sewage tools, plastics, iron, car parts, and most food items. Cancer and blood pressure medications are unavailable. Household essentials are banned. Water drilling equipment is not allowed. Even basic pest control materials are prohibited. Fuel for hospitals is blocked, and garbage collection is disrupted, leaving entire areas in worsening conditions that threaten public health. Even basic alternatives for survival are denied. Aid is shrinking to the point where many organizations can no longer function. No clean water, no electricity, no medical care, no safe living conditions. What is allowed in is no relief. It is heavily restricted and taxed to the point where prices become dozens of times higher than normal. Basic food items like fruits and vegetables have become unaffordable for most people. Even the smallest essentials are turned into tools of pressure. This is not normal life. It is a slow suffocation of an entire population.

@bradpsychology This is so utterly depraved. Grace's foundation was to help parents protect their own children from predation. To target this just to punish Grace for her activism. Evil, is the only adjective I have for it.

War divides; hope unites. Arrogance tramples upon others; love lifts up. Idolatry blinds us; the living God enlightens.
