@OneTakeBigDog Also, check out Yumeno Shoten in Jimbocho—it’s a great spot. Jimbocho is basically a whole book town, and even Shueisha (the publisher of Shonen Jump) has its headquarters there. You can even walk there from Akihabara, so it’s definitely worth checking out!

@hitomi_figure Unfortunately I won’t be back for a few months. I have been looking for issues with dragon ball covers for the 80s and early 90s. I had a chance to buy some about 2 months ago at mandarake in Shibuya but didn’t. The market has since spiked making it impossible to find them now.

@hitomi_figure I’ve been a couple times. I don’t really remember the names of the places I like going but I know where they are located. I would like to find some more places outside of akihabara as well. Been looking for old Shonen jump issues also.

@OneTakeBigDog These kinds of shops in Akihabara are honestly just taking advantage of tourists who come all the way to Japan excited to enjoy it…
So yeah, definitely don’t buy from places like that!

外国人の方々には、まず「郷に入っては郷に従え」の精神を学ぶことを勧める。そこさえ踏まえていれば、日本での暮らしは格段に快適なものになるはず。
