@willcurtis Working on improved integration with shortcuts. If you have dynamic island you can stop shortcut and it won't happen but agree needs more work. Not ideal way to show WiFi info but is only way allowed by the fruit company for now.

Had to uninstall the @OptifiApp app after the latest update, the app repeatedly launches despite force closing it. Was driving me mad!

@OoijenBas @willcurtis @UKDanJones @adriangranados 1.5.6 will be on app store soon. Runs in background now but you might have to stop shortcut manually if you exit app and shortcut launches again app. (🚧 🏗️ Still tweaking it. Expect a few more updates over next few days / weeks)

@willcurtis @UKDanJones @adriangranados yes with iOS 17, although there have been several updates in recent days, hopefully that will change and it can run in the background without problems. @OptifiApp

Hey @adriangranados is there any way to make your iOS Wi-Fi info shortcut into an iOS app that I can get customers to download? Even if the app is just a explainer on how to download and use the shortcut?

@OptifiApp any plans to build a Linux version of the agent? Would be great to deploy on the RPi’s we use as remote probes

@OoijenBas @willcurtis @UKDanJones Yes, Android supports WiFi scanning so will be equivalent to Windows and macOS versions

@OptifiApp @willcurtis @UKDanJones No problem at all. Currently, I have several apps that do not work optimally with iOS 17. Can we also expect an Android app?

@OoijenBas @willcurtis @UKDanJones 1.5.5 adds power save mode status which others suggested would indicate 1SS. Plan to add SNR. Might try to estimate MCS but don’t have all info needed so might not be worth it.

@OoijenBas @willcurtis @UKDanJones We tried to implement versioning in shortcut and might be why it keeps prompting. We are learning as we go with this shortcut process workflow. Will fix bugs / annoyances as fast as we can.

@JimVajda @UKDanJones @emagen I have a shortcut that wrote mcs by using Tx and Rx rates, based on data from my 9800 Grafana dashboard and captures. A lot of them was «Your MCS is maybe mcsXX» 😄 I gave up and made the shortcut to open mscindex instead 😂
