@OpusInFocusMag @MaxNordau That is evidence of it being a dead language. An alive language changes constantly, you can see it evolve over centuries. Ancient hebrew died 1800 years ago, what we know of it stayed the same all this time. And got revived in the 19th century as a new living language

The palestinian dialect of arabic contains many terms and words not found in standard Arabic but that result rather from the integration of Hebrew and Aramaic. Some 210 villages in historic Palestine still have Hebrew names. Palestinians have more connection to biblical Hebrew than white European Jews.
