Athletes: Learn how to control your emotions & body language. It's great to show passion but not at the cost of hurting your team. When I see a member of opposing team have weak body language or temper tantrum..I smile because it means "we got em!" & we're going to win.

Took a much needed 2 weeks off after the Team USA event in Florida and coming home to the holidays. Happy to be back this week and pushing myself hard with agilities and hitting! Highly recommend this book for any player in their recruiting journey. Great advice from someone who went through it all. It can be rough out there without a plan! Read it all in one sitting!

This was me exactly two years ago…exhausted, traveling nonstop, doing whatever it took during my junior-year recruiting journey. To all the athletes out there who were on the road every weekend, balancing school, sports, and airports… I see you!!!

The fall recruiting window is over. I committed on the last possible weekend before the college season started. A lot of my teammates weren’t as lucky. Winter off-season: nothing. High school season: nothing. Summer: coaches already chasing the next class. I still think about two teammates in particular. Now they’re thriving at D1 programs, but their paths weren’t easy. They had the ability, but spent the winter of junior year with zero offers. They went on unofficials. They got the pictures, the meetings, the “we love you, we just need to sort out our budget.” And then… silence. Months of it. They were so close to their goal that it had to hurt even worse. That’s who we wrote Recruiting Rules for. Not the phenoms. Not the 5-Star kids. But the players who just need someone to tell them the truth and give them a plan. If you’re a 2027 heading into winter without an offer, the sky isn’t falling. I know players who didn’t commit until the fall of their senior year. But here’s the part nobody really says out loud: If you don’t have an offer or official visits lined up right now… you’re not recruitable yet. At least not in the eyes of the people who matter - college coaches. That doesn’t mean you’re not good. It just means there’s a gap somewhere. Maybe in your metrics, your game, your communication, your exposure, your network, your timing, or even how you show up on your socials. And if you don’t know what that gap is, you can’t fix it. Our book walks you through five questions to figure that out. Any athlete with some self-awareness and brutal honesty can start this work. Sit down, take a breath, and ask yourself the hardest question in the whole process: Why haven’t I been recruited? The good news is that winter is the best time to fix the things that held you back. You can dread the long quiet stretch until summer… or you can use it to rebuild, train with purpose, and show up different when the window opens again.
